Since 2017, 海角社区 has been working to create a safer future for the people of Honduras. We work on weapons and ammunition management, with a focus on destroying obsolete weapons and ammunition. This helps to prevent unplanned explosions and avoid firearms being diverted to organized crime.
We've established a transparent weapons destruction program and assisted with upgrading weapons stores to make them secure. We strive to ensure the meaningful participation of women and other minority groups in the security forces.
We deliver specialized courses in explosive ordnance disposal and safe handling of small arms and ammunition. These courses equip officers to adopt best practices for small arms and ammunition.
This training is crucial to implement across all warehouses in this region, in order to achieve proper organisation and enhance security measures.
